Updated Standoff Missile Performs Well In Tests

Lockheed Martin recently conducted a successful product upgrade verification flight test of the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) at White Sands Missile Range, N.M., reports the defense firm.
The test involved the launch of a missile from a B-52 bomber. After that, the JASSM navigated through a pre-planned route before destroying its target, company officials said.
