U.N.'s Civilian Casualty Count Reaches 10,000 Killed, 40,000 Wounded

The U.N. Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs says that at least 10,000 civilians have been killed and many more injured in two years of conflict in Yemen, reports Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Around 40,000 civilians have been wounded, according to lists gathered by health facilities, said Jamie Goldrick, the OCHA official for Yemen. The real number might be higher, he said.
This represents the first time a U.N. official has confirmed such a high death toll in Yemen. ...
