Unmanned Reaper Crashes In Mojave Desert

The Air Force says one of its MQ-9 Reaper aircraft crashed Tuesday near El Mirage Airfield, Calif., during a test flight, the Air Force Times reports.
The remotely piloted aircraft went down in a sparsely populated area of the Mojave Desert, causing no injuries, according to an Air Force statement released Wednesday.
The aircraft was assigned to the Aeronautical Systems Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
