Unmanned Magma Aircraft Uses Jets Of Air To Change Direction

BAE Systems and the University of Manchester in England have completed an initial phase of flight trials with a new unmanned aerial vehicle technology demonstrator, reports the defense firm.

The Magma small-scale UAV employs a unique blown-air system to maneuver, potentially enable future stealthier aircraft designs, noted the Dec. 13 release.
