Under 2 Deals, Air Force To Get New Medium-Lift, Heavy-Lift Helos

The Singapore Ministry of Defense has awarded a pair of contracts for new helicopters for the air force.
One deal with Airbus covers new H225M Caracal aircraft to replace aging Super Pumas.
In the other deal, Boeing will supply its latest CH-47F Chinooks to replace Singapore's existing CH-47s, the ministry said in a Monday release.
The new helicopters provide better lift and reach capabilities and will permit the air force to meet its lift requirements with fewer aircraft...
