The United Nations says that the security and humanitarian situation in Cameroon is declining and could spin out of control, reports the Voice of America News.
In 2018, it was estimated that 160,000 people in the Anglophone Northwest and Southwest regions were in need of humanitarian assistance. Separatists there have been fighting against the government in the majority Francophone country, which they say discriminates against English-speakers.
