The United Nations is set to deploy 250 Nepalese peacekeepers to Libya to guard its base in Tripoli, says the head of the mission there, as reported by the Libya Observer.
The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has been based in Tunis, in neighboring Tunisia, since 2014. The mission has been planning to return to Libya in recent months.
