The British Royal Air Force is stripping three Eurofighter Typhoons at RAF Coningsby for parts to keep eight other Typhoons flying in the NATO-led operations over Libya, reports the Daily Mail (U.K.).
To save money, the air force did not buy enough spare parts for the Typhoon fleet, officials said.
Three of the jets were grounded in March for parts to maximize the number of Typhoons available for operations.
