A pair of suicide bombers blew up their cars outside a bank in Iraq's capital on Sunday morning, killing 26 people and wounding 52 others, the New York Times reports.
The blasts near Baghdad's Nisour Square were powerful enough to toss several cars onto nearby rooftops, witnesses said.
Army officials speculated that a convoy entering the bank at the time of the explosions may have been the target.
No group claimed responsibility, but the Islamic State of Iraq is suspected,...
