Turks Cross Border After PKK Rebels

Turkish commandos struck inside northern Iraq on Sunday as they pursued Kurdish rebels, according to state media accounts cited by Agence France-Presse.
Turkish officials called the operation a response to an attack by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) that killed 12 Turkish soldiers on Saturday.
During the fighting on Sunday, a 15-year-old girl was among those killed, said security officials.
