Kurdish fighters in Syria have changed that the Turkish military has shelled their positions, reports Reuters.
The People's Protection Units (YPG) said that several tank rounds from across the Turkish-Syrian border struck overnight Monday.
A Turkish official said the army returned fire after being fired upon, but insisted that the YPG was not a target.
