A top terrorist commander says he is leaving the Pakistani Taliban because of disagreements over suicide attacks, reports the Press Trust of India.
Fazal Saeed Haqqani, a commander of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in the Kurram tribal region, told reporters on Monday he is splitting from the TTP because he did not approve of suicide attacks against mosques and civilians.
He said he is forming another group called the Tehrik-e-Taliban Islami.
