President Donald Trump has confirmed that a senior Al-Qaida bomb-maker was killed in a U.S. counterterrorism operation in Yemen two years ago, reports CNN.
The death of Ibrahim Al Asiri has hindered the terrorist group's operations, Trump wrote on Wednesday.
A U.N. report released in July 2018 suggested the Saudi had likely been killed in the second half of 2017.
U.S. officials expressed confidence in the findings.
