Eighteen Botswanan military personnel are on their way to China for two years of training as part of longstanding military cooperation between the two countries, reports the Botswana Press Agency.
Over the years, China has trained more than 300 Botswanan soldiers, said Zheng Zhuqiang, the Chinese ambassador to Botswana, during the Monday farewell ceremony.
There are more than 20 training opportunities for Botswanan troops, said the ambassador.
