Burundian soldiers serving in the African Union peacekeeping force in Somalia say they have not been paid since January, reports BBC News.
Five months of unpaid wages is estimated at US$20 million for the nearly 4,000 Burundian troops.
A Burundian army spokesman told the BBC the African Union has paid the funds into the Bank of the Republic of Burundi, but the bank has not disbursed it to the soldiers.
