Emirati troops have completed their withdrawal from southern Yemen, reports the official Emirates News Agency (WAM). 

The Emirati military confirmed the withdrawal on Wednesday. 

Saudi and Yemeni troops have assumed control of areas in and around Aden, the military said. 

The move followed the announcement of a power-sharing deal between Yemen's internationally-recognized government and the Southern Transitional Council (STC) last week.
