Boko Haram militants have attacked a northeastern Nigerian town, reports Bloomberg News.
The attack took place Thursday in the town of Buni Yadi in Yobe state, according to military sources. There were no reported of casualties.
Residents fled to Damaturu, the state capital, said locals.
Early Friday, a Reuters correspondent saw a detachment of troops in armored vehicles and a fighter jet heading toward the town.
The town was seized by Boko Haram in 2014 and then retaken...
