Thailand has decided to withdraw from the U.N. World Heritage Convention to protest the consideration of Cambodia's management plan for the Preah Vihear temple, reports the Thai News Agency.
The temple site, along the Cambodian-Thai border, has become the center of a dispute between the two nations.
The government in Bangkok said a draft resolution offered by Cambodia was too vague.
