Four people have been killed after a military raid on a suspected militant bomb factory in the southern Philippines, reports GMA News (Philippines).
Troops encountered about 30 Abu Sayyaf fighters on Thursday on Basilan island, said the admiral in charge of a special security task force.
Three militants and one soldier were killed in the fighting. 10 others were wounded, reported the Manila Times.
