U.S. Marines and Special Forces personnel may eventually be equipped with a small unmanned bomber being developed by the U.S. Air Force that can fit in a backpack, the Marine Corps Times reports.
Prototypes for the mini remotely piloted aircraft are expected to undergo evaluation flights this month at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., conducted by the Air Force Air Armament Center and U.S. Special Operations Command.
