Two Moroccan security personnel were killed during a Monday raid on a camp in Western Sahara, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
Security forces attacked the Gdim Izik camp, about 6 miles (10 km) east of Laayoune, the main city in the region, in an attempt to arrest personnel who were said to be threatening camp residents, according to Moroccan media.
The security forces took 65 people into custody for resisting arrest, officials said.
