Troops, Garrison In Siachen Glacier Buried In Avalanche

Rescue efforts continue after 130 Pakistani soldiers were buried in an avalanche on a glacier near India.
The avalanche took place at a base on Saturday morning in the Gayari sector of the Siachen Glacier in Kashmir, said a military spokesman, as reported by McClatchy Newspapers.
The Northern Light Infantry regiment's garrison headquarters were completely buried. Search dogs were dispatched, said the spokesman.
