Troops Fight Against Deadly Weather, Establish Centers For Heat Stroke

The Pakistani army is setting up relief camps in southern Sindh province to deal with a deadly heat wave, reports Dawn (Pakistan).
More than 400 people have died from heat stroke in the port city of Karachi alone, said a provincial official on Monday, as cited by AFP. Most of the victims were said to be elderly people from low-income families.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) urged the military to assist.
