The Turkish Ministry of Defense says its forces have prevented a terrorist attack by Kurdish militants in northwestern Syria, reports the Anadolu Agency (Ankara).
On Thursday, Turkish commandos neutralized 14 Kurdish fighters who were preparing an attack in a part of Syria identified only as part of its Operation Euphrates Shield, the ministry said.
The ministry uses the term “neutralized" for hostile fighters who surrendered or were killed or captured.
