Troops Close In On Aleppo; Thousands Flee The City

As many as 16,000 people have been displaced in the Syrian city of Aleppo as government forces gain ground, says a top United Nations humanitarian official, as cited by Deutsche Presse-Agentur.
On Monday, government forces broke through rebel lines, seizing almost a third of rebel-held territory in the eastern part of the city.
