The Lebanese army says it has killed a leader from an Islamic State cell that had crossed the border from Syria, reports Al-Masdar News (United Arab Emirates).
On Saturday, troops raided the town of Arsal, arresting 10 suspected militants who had infiltrated the area from Syria, said an army statement.
A local ISIS leader, who had ordered attacks and kidnappings of Lebanese soldiers three years ago, was killed in the raid, said the statement.
