Troops From Anti-Smuggling Units Arrested For Drug-Trafficking

Twelve Israeli troops and junior career officers have been arrested for alleged drug-trafficking along the Egyptian border, reports Haaretz (Israel).
The suspects may have given smugglers detailed information about military deployments along the border, military police said.
The suspects, who were arrested last week, were involved in trafficking heroin, cocaine, hashish and ecstasy, said officials.
