It remains unclear whether the U.S. will cut forces based in Germany, reports the Military Times.
In July, Defense Secretary Mark Esper announced that about 11,900 troops deployed at bases in Germany would be withdrawn, with some to redeploy elsewhere in Europe and others heading home.
A bipartisan amendment to the 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would pause plans for a pullout.
