Trials Set For Wearable Shooter-Detection System

The U.K. Ministry of Defense has decided to conduct field trials with BBN Technologies' Boomerang Warrior-X wearable shooter-detection system, reports Raytheon, which owns BBN Technologies.
The selection of the system followed an assessment by the U.K. Defense Science and Technology Laboratory that included Boomerang Warrior-X and other similar systems and determined that the BBN Technologies system was the most effective.
