Trials About To Resume For Littoral Ship

The General Dynamics-built Littoral Combat Ship Independence could resume sea trials as early as next week, according to sources cited by the Navy Times.

Initial trials began in early July, but a series of problems have largely left the ship pierside at Austal USA's shipyard in Mobile, Ala.
