Transition Begins To Combine U.S. 2nd ID With S. Korean 16th Brigade

Personnel from the South Korean and U.S. armies are creating a combined division in South Korea, reports the Army Times.

About 30 South Korean officers, including a brigadier general, officially joined the headquarters of the U.S. 2nd Infantry Division on Thursday as part of a major restructuring of the U.S. headquarters.
