The Pakistani navy has just accepted the first two of eight P-3 Orion maritime patrol aircraft from the United States, the U.S. Navy reports.
The transfer took place last week at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Fla., as part of the U.S. Foreign Military Sales program.
The aircraft are being upgraded with modern mission systems and avionics, Pakistani navy officials said.
