A Chinese navy ship left Monday on a training mission that will include visits to South Korea and Japan, reports Xinhua, China's state news agency.
The Zhenghe is scheduled to visit Chinhae in South Korea and Kure in Japan, according to the People's Liberation Army Navy. The visits will include a few days of training in their naval academies.
Two Japanese cadets are aboard the Chinese ship, the first time foreign students have participated in such training.
