A review by the Israel Antitrust Authority has delayed air force plans to buy new trainer aircraft, reports the Jerusalem Post.
The agency is reviewing a proposal for domestic defense firms to buy the aircraft and lease it to the air force. Concerns have been expressed that the deal might lead to monopoly.
The Defense Ministry sought to issue a request for information for the South Korea T-50 and Italian M-346 jet trainers for a competition to replace aging A-4 Skyhawks. ...
