Trainer Aircraft Crashes In S. Texas, Pilot Ejects Safely

A T-45 Goshawk training aircraft went down last week near George West, Texas, reports the Navy NewsStand.
The aircraft was on a routine training flight Wednesday from Naval Air Station Kingsville when it crashed, said a Navy spokesman.
The sole pilot, assigned to Training Squadron 21 (VT-21), ejected safely and suffered minor injuries, he said.
An investigation into the incident was launched.
