The commander of U.S. Forces Korea says an advanced U.S. missile defense system will be deployed to South Korea in 2017, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul).
The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system will be deployed in the next eight to 10 months, said Gen. Vincent Brooks. He made his comments on Friday at a seminar in Seoul, the nation's capital.
