The head of an elite Philippine police force has been relieved from duty after a bloody police operation on Sunday, reports the Sun Star (Zamboanga, Philippines).
Getulio Napenas, chief superintendent of the Philippine national police-special action force (PNP-SAF), will be replaced by his deputy, Chief Superintendent Noly Talino, while an investigation takes place over the incident.
