Senior Chinese officials in Hong Kong have announced support for a controversial national security law in the semi-autonomous city, reports the Financial Times (London). Luo Huining, the head of China’s Liaison Office, revealed his support for the law on Monday in an article in the People’s Daily, the newspaper of the Communist Party.
