North Korea has promised to broaden its military ties with China, Reuters reports.
Kim Yong Nam, the head of the Supreme People's Assembly in North Korea, told a visiting Chinese military delegation on Tuesday that the bond between the neighbors has "shown great vitality."
Separately, Beijing confirmed Monday that North Korean leader Kim Jong Il visited China for five days last week.
