Top Contractors To Get Leg Up

The U.S. Navy has started a new program that will offer contractors that perform well with more favorable terms and financial incentives, reports the Navy Times.

Under the Preferred Supplier Program, the service will grant preferential status to those contractors who have demonstrated success in cost, schedule, performance, quality and business relations.

The Navy is seeking comment on the pilot phase of the program, which is currently in the conceptual phase.
