Tokyo, Seoul Begin Military Intelligence Sharing

South Korea and Japan have started sharing military intelligence on North Korea under a trilateral agreement with the United States, reports the Yonhap news agency (Seoul), citing an unnamed U.S. defense official in Washington.
The allies signed a memorandum of understanding in December that covers voluntary sharing of intelligence on North Korea's nuclear and missile programs.
