In Tit-For-Tat, Kremlin Expels Swedish Diplomat From Russia

Responding to a similar move by Stockholm, the Russian government has declared a senior Swedish diplomat persona non grata and expelled the unnamed envoy, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The move comes after a Russian diplomat was recently expelled from Stockholm.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a release on Tuesday that a high-ranking Swedish diplomat was kicked out of Russia for "acts improper to his post and status," or espionage.
