The Lutch design bureau in Russia says it has developed an upgraded version of its Tipchak unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), reports Interfax-AVN.
The latest UAV features a new set of lighter onboard equipment, including radios and the navigation and piloting system, said company officials.
The reduced weight is expected to allow the aircraft to carry more fuel, providing an endurance of four hours and range of 50 miles (80 km).
