Tight Budget Impedes Air Force Radio Units

Because of budget limitations, the Russian air force radio units are unable to buy enough new equipment to modernize the force, reports Interfax-AVN.

The lack of funds has also forced radio units to use old equipment well beyond its service life, said Lt. Gen. Anatoly Boyarintsev, the head of the air force's radio forces.
