Ties Restored With New Delhi As Indian Military Delegation Arrives

A military delegation from India is in Beijing for a six-day visit to resume defense ties that have been frozen for a year, Agence France-Presse reports.
India suspended military exchanges with China last July after Beijing refused to provide a proper visa to the then-chief of India's Northern Army Command, which controls the region of Indian-administered Kashmir.
China controls a small part of Kashmir and has other claims in the disputed territory.
