Iraq and Saudi Arabia plan to open a border-crossing for trade that has been close since 1990, reports Reuters, citing local media.
The Arar border-crossing was closed after Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait and diplomatic ties were cut.
During the closure, Iraqi pilgrims continued to use the crossing, noted the Mecca Daily (Saudi Arabia).
