Tide Class Runs Late, But Initial Ship Finally Is Delivered

The British Royal Navy says it has taken delivery of the first of four new supply ships being built in South Korea, reports Defense News.
The tankers of the Tide class will be commissioned into the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA).
Tidespring was accepted earlier this month and is scheduled to arrive in the U.K. later this year for customization and capability assessment trials before entering service, a Defense Ministry spokesman told the newspaper.
