Three Armenian Women Die In Shelling Blamed On Azerbaijan

Officials from Armenia have blamed Azeri military forces for shelling that killed three civilians and injured two others in villages near the border with Azerbaijan, reports the Voice of America News.

The three killed were women aged 41, 60 and 94, said Armenia's Interior Ministry, as reported by Iran's Press TV.

The incident took place Thursday night in the Avush region in Armenia's northeast, said a police spokesman cited by Reuters.
