The North Korean government has threatened South Korean President Lee Myung-bak and his government, reports the Washington Post.
The state-run Central News Agency said Monday that a "special operation action group" of the North Korean military would reduce parts of Seoul to ash "in three or four minutes ... by unprecedented peculiar means and methods of our own style."
The South Korean president was named as a target. There was no specific action mentioned, noted CNN.
