The U.S. Army and Air Force have delivered thousands of Humvees to the Iraqi army, Defense News reports.
The vehicle deliveries are part of a $200 million deal to refurbish and transfer 8,500 vehicles to Iraq by July, U.S. Army officials said.
The vehicles are being sent to the Iraqi army and national police force.
Iraq is also considering making several other purchases, including C-130Js, Strykers, Abrams tanks, armored security vehicles and small arms.
